Great to hear you are back at writing and sharing your journey. I also love getting to know Tristan better through your reflections and expressed love and admiration.

A mother’s love will never end no matter how old her children are. I am sure Tris will eventually find a job he loves which also suits his social life.

So sad to read about Joey and Michielle. I lost three close friends in May, June and August respectively. It was so hard to take. But what happened to Joey is even more difficult for you.

I am so happy for you that you found a place you love and settle down in Brevard.

This is so heartfelt and real. Brought tears to my eyes. The worst part about getting older is losing people. 😢 I can’t imagine losing my son even though I rarely get to see him. He suffers like Tris from depression. (OCD, and anxiety). And, he rarely wants my input, just my ear … super hard … the worrying continues & (apparently) that’s a blessing.

Really great piece.
